1974 Mini Clubman

My name is Lucy and I bring joy and happiness to all who travel in me. I love weekend drives to cafes and hugging the winding roads with the windows down.

A little about me, I am a 1974 Leyland Mini and I have a 1100 cc engine. Recently I had some minor surgery with my head gasket being replaced, my head machined, and my carby reconditioned. Gee I feel so much better!

My four speed gear box is great and ready for the highway or the backroads. I love cruising around 80/90km hour and having a relaxed sojourn through the country roads.

My owners did install a new fuel tank recently and I am proud to be a low maintenance gal. I am very economical to run, only costing around $15 to fill my tank to the top. I really do love my current owners as they have always looked after me and loved tucking me away in their garage to keep me free from getting older.

My previous owners did give me a closed door re-spray so my paintwork has a few blemishes, but don’t hold that against me. I think I am a pretty cool chick for my age, I have few minor bumps and bruises but nothing that slows me down. I consider myself an original retro gal.

My owners really are quite sad to be sending me off to my new home but have loved me as part of their family for the last decade. I am excited to create new memories with a new family. I am open to being a project for someone if that is what you like to do or you can keep me as I am, I am perfectly happy this way.
