Please note: We will once again be using the CAMS Online Entry system, if you have any queries email me at eventsecretary@caca.org.au . More information on the CAMS Online Entry System is below:

So, just how do you enter through the CAMS Online Event Entry system?

This system will hopefully streamline the current admin in administering an event, especially in reducing the waiting time to enter, and the handling of cash and credit cards prior to the event start.

If all runs well you will simply attend the admin desk to be marked off the list, and receive your numbers and scrutineering form. Lunch orders (where applicable) will be handled separately and paid for separately.

Please note: We are unable to accommodate multiple driver entries at this stage. Each entrant will need to log on individually and enter the event. This may well change further down the track.

You will need to follow the following instructions to:

Log onto your CAMS Member Portal

To enter an event

Logging onto the CAMS Member Portal.

Go to the CAMS Website http://www.cams.com.au

On the screen your will see the member portal.

Type in your CAMS Member Number, followed by your password (if you remember it….if not click on the “Forgot password” and follow instructions to get your new password).

You will then see your profile if your password was successful

On the LHS you will see ‘CAMS EVENT ENTRY’. Click on this.

Click on ‘Go’

Go to ‘My Cars’, then click on ‘ADD CAR’, and complete the details of your car.

PLEASE NOTE: When you come to VEHICLE CLASS do not allocate a vehicle class as we will determine the class at scrutineering.

(Otherwise if you use the same vehicle for Motorkhana and Khanacross events you would need to create your vehicle twice.

Complete as much info for the car, ensuring that under ‘Transponder’ your insert the ‘None’ response.

Save you vehicle record and the car should then be registered on the system.

Go to My Crew. Your details will automatically be shown from CAMS records. Don’t add further drivers – we request that each driver performs that setup individually.

Go to My Details: Check the information that is populated from the CAMS records. Update if required.

Go to My Events: Click on ‘My Events’ then click on ‘Enter an Event’ and select the ‘CACA Event that you wish to enter’.

Please note: Supp Regs and Disclaimer must be ticked by the entrant. Please also tick that you have read them.

In STEP 2 – Select your car and driver using the dropdowns.

Ensure that you tick ‘Adult Entry’ or ‘Junior Entry’ as applicable.

Scroll to the bottom of the entry for the payment details.

Click on confirm and pay’.

Select ‘Credit Card’ and complete your card details.

  1. The system will confirm your entry and payment.

This system will record all entrants therefore making it easier for the director and secretary to have a clearer picture as to the number of runners for the event.

More info coming soon and we hope to see you there!

Kind Regards,

Neil Blackbourn Christian Autosports Vice President

Rylstone Classic

This FREE 2 day event is for Mini owners and enthusiasts with other classic vehicles accepted upon application. The 2019 Rylstone Classic, to be held August 17 · 18, encompasses a range of novelty activities and will be conducted at a leisurely pace, befitting the vintage of our vehicles. With an overnight stay in wine country, the Rylstone Classic has grown over the past eight years to become one of Australia’s marquee events for Mini enthusiasts, with numbers growing year on year.

There are a few changes this year with the most important being we have made the decision to move our Central Coast starting point from the Gosford Classic Car Museum to the Mingara Recreation Club at Tumbi Umbi.

It may be a few extra kilometres for our Sydney folk to travel, but the venue provides everything we need for a safe and ordered departure on the big day.

Plus, with a range of cafes on site, pre-fuelling will be a breeze!

Our entry form has been updated online, with all existing entries also corrected.

Entry costs:                             Museum Entry                        Museum Entry +                                                                                                                       Train ride

Since 1975 the historic town of Thirlmere in Sydney’s southwest has been home to a significant rail heritage collection, including over 100 rolling stock items, associated with the history of the railways in NSW.

The 5-hectare rail corridor site and much of the collection is owned by the NSW Government.

The Thirlmere section of the Main Southern Railway was deviated in 1919 to a less steep alignment with easier grades, and the original line became the Picton Loop Line. Today, the loop line provides a link to the main line, which enables heritage, trains to operate beyond the local area and run on a line clear of other working trains.

Convoy: Meet at McDonalds, Edmondson Park, Cnr Camden Valley Way and Gellibrand Road, for a prompt 9:15am departure. We will avoid the main Motorway and travel down Camden Valley way and the Old Hume Highway through Picton, to Thirlmere.

Morning tea will be provided by the museum on arrival at 10am followed by the 60 minute museum tour. Lunch can be purchased onsite or in the nearby township or bring your own. For those who wish to participate in the train ride this will start at 2pm for a 50 minute return journey.

Please Note: I will require numbers of people who will be attending so I can arrange for the tour and train ride, please RSVP by 20th March to Michael.

Australia Day, Saturday, 26 January 2019.

CARnivale, Parramatta Park

City of Parramatta Council, in collaboration with the Australia Day Council of New South Wales, invites you to register for CARnivale in the Parkwhich will be held in Parramatta Park on Australia Day, Saturday, 26 January 2019.

CARnivale showcases a magnificent collection of classic vehicles including cars, motorbikes, fire engines, speedway cars and bikes. This will be the fourth year CARnivale has been held in Parramatta Park and the location has proved to be very popular.

Over 70,000 people visited the park on Australia Day in 2018 and the majority of the people came specifically to see CARnivale.

Organisers have made improvements to CARnivale each year based on information gathered from entrants and visitors.

For 2019 organisers are again improving the experience for CARnivale participants by providing more seating and shaded areas and bringing all the vehicles on to the grassed area alongside Old Government House.

In addition to CARnivale, other activities in the park will include a spectacular hot air balloon display from 6am, Australia’s largest Australia Day citizenship ceremony, the Parramatta Big BBQ festival and a family zone with a concert and kids’ rides.

The Australia Day celebrations end with a rock concert on the main stage followed by a fireworks spectacular.

Parramatta Park is close to the air-conditioned Westfield shopping centre and the Parramatta central business district, which offers many restaurants and cafes.

As well there will be free shuttle buses travelling from the park around the Parramatta district.

Registration for CARnivale in the Park 2019 is now open at: www.ausdayparramatta.com.au/carnivale  and the closing date is Friday November 23rd.
